Together for an inclusive world
Handicap International Belgium supports people with disabilities during conflicts, disasters, and in other precarious situations. The NGO removes barriers to inclusion and restores autonomy to individuals. It is committed to a world where everyone has a place and has access to the same rights and opportunities, with or without disabilities.
The “Inclusive future” project is a European programme aimed at promoting awareness of the inclusion of people with disabilities. This project pursues several objectives. Here are a few:
Improvement of the perception of disability for better inclusion of disabled people in society through innovative educational tools for creating classroom activities.
Training of 200 teachers in the use of educational tools.
Raising awareness among more than 5,000 secondary school students through educational tools.
All tools are developed in several languages.
Promotion of citizen initiatives by students for better inclusion of disabled people.
Pot: Currently €816 collected.
