The origins

BlueWorld Foundation was established in 2012 under the impetus of Jean-Luc Rochet with the support of Jean-Marie Polet. This civil electrical engineer is convinced that an innovative solution, both technological and economic, can provide answers to the environmental and social challenges of our time.

Driven, since the 2005s, by the awareness of the upheavals to come for humanity, Jean-Luc initially worked on a process to alert populations in a geolocalised manner in the event of a disaster through all means of communication. It was a first step, the reflection continues because technology is not enough, it must be hosted in a structure that makes sense and is in line with the values of disaster management. A structure that will provide all the guarantees in a systemic way regarding the use of data. We needed to go further. Today, his investment in the foundation is summarised by this deep conviction: relying on technology while reinventing certain economic mechanisms with heart and creativity will enable humanity to face the problems that arise.

Building a more meaningful economy, to develop today what we will need for tomorrow, constructing a response to the current situation, made of synergies between the business world and the public and non-profit sectors, is possible. This is the proposal of BlueWorld Foundation and the Blue Model.

Relying on technology while reinventing certain economic mechanisms with heart and creativity will enable humanity to face the problems it encounters.
